blog post 3 instagram

·       How often does each brand post new content?
: Motorola; 4-5 post every week usually a photo rather than a video.
: Htc; 2-3 posts every week
·       What kind of content does each brand post (promotional, commercials, discounts and coupons, how-to’s, industry related events, games, images, infographics, celebrity spots, news, music videos, etc.)
: Motorola; 90% of the content are photos of the company’s products and release dates to new products, the rest of the 10% is of neat videos and photos of convenience shots using the products.
: Htc; 80% of the content are photos from their products camera showing wonderful landscapes and close up shots, the rest of the 20% are photos of the products themselves and creative media of art with the products in them as well.
·       Is there a description feature on this platform? What kind of content is included (links to other sites, keywords, descriptions, categories, #hashtags, etc.)?
: Motorola; on the website form it is better to only view the content, searching maybe too difficult. However on the mobile platform it it much easier and faster to search for hashtags and links to other sites. Motorola provides links, and descriptions.
: Htc; the same rule applie for Htc as it does for Motorola, its best uses come from the mobile app as it brings together all information to be accessed.
·       Which are your two brands most successful recent videos/images/infographics/posts/etc.?  Describe them and include anchored text with a link to each (include the url link in parentheses next to the anchored text).
: Motorola; 5,067 likes, 108 comments.

: Htc; 11.8k likes, 569 comments.

·       Why do you think these two videos were so successful?

: Both posts included pictures of their most recent phone product, and I think that created a lot of buzz around Instagram. The new look and design catches the eye seamlessly.
